Lockdown Lifeline - check out this Christmas feast...baked into a loaf of bread

Camdenist presents more of the things you can do this week, and in the run-up to a Christmas that really will be 'like no other'

 Order Christmas...in Bread

 £5 OFF Breakfast En Bread

The scandalous-looking culinary creation pictured above is The Festive Edition, a Christmas special from Breakfast En Bread, who have turned the Covid crisis into a brilliant home delivery service. Their original dish - a full English breakfast inside a sourdough loaf - has been joined by veggie and vegan options, and now a seasonal range too. The best bit is that you simply need to pop them in the oven for 20 mins and the whole meal is ready. A selection of independent local produce from booze to coffee comes in the bigger gift boxes, and you can even order entertainment and games to create a virtual Xmas party package, to make this year-like-no-other even more memorable. Best of all, our £5 discount can be used as many times as you like in the run-up to Christmas. Find out more and book yours now.

   Community-loving Christmas trees

We've waited patiently, and now that December is upon us, it's finally acceptable for Christmas decorating to commence. If you're planning on a tree this year, then make sure it also supports the community by heading for Camden Garden Centre. As well as helping local young people into employment and educational opportunities, this social enterprise boasts one of the loveliest Christmas tree forests we've seen this side of Lapland, complete with decorations, gift ideas, and a delivery service - plus plenty of pot grown options for the eco-conscious among us, too.

Hampstead's Freud Museum has been keeping busy this year with a plethora of fascinating online talks examining the human psyche. If you've missed out so far then never fear, as they've happily released recordings of the events to catch up with on demand over the next few days and weeks. Take your pick from psychoanalytic examinations of everything from dating apps to dreams, and sexuality to social rights.

   Vote for the educators

This week we're focusing on the education sector in the nominations for the forthcoming Camden Covid Champions awards. If there's a teacher, school staff member, Zoom-tutor, virtual music-lesson hero or other educator who has gone over and above the call of duty during the lockdowns, it's time to put them forward. Vote now

More Lockdown Lifelines you may have missed...
