As the cost of living crisis reveals some fairly shocking price hikes across the board, the boroughs pubs and bars are doing their bit to help keep life's little pleasures vaguely affordable, with plenty of decent happy hours, meal deals and other specials...if you know where to look. To make it a whole lot easier, w

e've been reaching out to them this week to put together a guide to the best offers and deals, from two-for-one cocktails to full lunches. The list is growing, too, so bookmark the page for when you need it over the coming months.

 EAT: Two tasty new openings worth a visit

a restaurant that promises to bring anime food to life. It is already attracting a loyal following of fans of the manga character from which it borrows its name, offering a menu of signature or build-your-own ramen bowls, sushi and nine flavours of bubble tea based on Bijuu tailed beasts. Cosplay also seems to be a big thing here, so prepare for an immersive Japanese anime dining experience on all fronts. Meanwhile just down the road on Broadwick St, Israeli celebrity chef Eyal Shan has opened his first London restaurant,

Miznon,

following successful ventures in Paris and New York. The menu is based around fluffy pita platters with roast cauliflower, minute steak and lamb ragu among the accompanying dishes, plus a signature 'folder burger' topped with a cheddar crown, which sound intriguing and appetising all at once.

 SHOP: Visit London's first cycling atelier

 have gone and opened their dream cycling showroom just across the way in Stable Street.

stocks many of the world's best cycling brands, selling everything from bikes to the full range of accessories, including saddles, sunglasses and the latest clothing tech. There's a busy events programme planned, too, including product launches, film screenings, Q&As and photography exhibitions, an in-house cafĂ© and a series of weekly guided rides for all abilities. And it will soon become the ideal pit-stop for both bike and body, with an in-house mechanic and masseuse on hand to thoroughly oil and tune everything up for the discerning rider.

? Over at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre this Sunday there's a debut al fresco show from black bearded drag opera diva Le Gateau Chocolat. Raw Cacao promises to take you on a personal musical journey with one of the most show-stopping and fabulous of cabaret artists around. And you've still got time to catch The Place's alien invasion dance show Future Cargo, currently beaming out from the raised side of a 40ft haulage truck on Lewis Cubitt square, with dates until next Sunday.

 FESTIVALS: Fitzrovia FĂȘte and week 3 of the Fringe

all day this Saturday. The event sees the whole of Scala St filled with Punch and Judy-influenced puppetry, magic shows, craft stalls, cakes, circus workshops, live music and more. The day is free, but in aid of supporting the UK's oldest toy museum to continue.to exist.
