WIN: A Covid-Safe Champagne Date at Searcys

Did you know that the concourse at St Pancras Station is considered outdoor space, and will therefore be open for seated - and weatherproof - food and drinks from April? To celebrate, Europe's longest Champagne bar Searcys will be popping corks, serving bubbles for bubbles of up to six people in their luxury booths on the Grand Terrace alongside the platforms. The Staycation Afternoon Tea (3pm-5pm daily, £39 a head) offers some international glamour on your doorstep (upgrade to limitless Veuve Clicquot for £79, delivered at the press of a button in the booth).  WALK: Discover the Outdoor Art Gallery

Scenes of a deserted and shuttered Camden High Street have gone global, but the sorry shop fronts are now starting to transform into a street art gallery. The cheery project gives local artists a very public canvas and the chance to brighten the place up, too. Discover them all via a map on the website (link above) including new pieces added each week. Even when the shutters are finally allowed to come up again, the gallery will return afterhours.

READ: Camden wins battle of the logos

Camden's 1965 iconic 'handshake' logo has been voted London's favourite in a hotly contested battle of the boroughs run by the people behind the Open House festival. The poll saw over 40k votes cast, with Hackney's circular 'H' beaten in the final. Discover the fascinating story of this local enduring emblem, designed as a purposefully modern departure from the coats of arms of the merged boroughs of Hampstead, Holborn and St Pancras.

EAT: Hot Stone Sushi and Steak opens

It's heartening to see new restaurant openings forging ahead, despite still not actually being able to host any customers. Hot Stone have been wow-ing fans of authentic Japanese dining over in Chapel Market, and opened their second branch in Fitzrovia this week. Now offering delivery or collection ahead of the seated omakase experience to come, their video of Chef Padam Rai's expert sushi and kobe beef slicing is a beautiful thing to behold.

THIS WEEK'S ONE-CLICK POLL What kind of freebies, discounts or competition prizes would most excite you to recieve in this email in the weeks ahead?  (We'll use the results to give you more of what you want 😎)

LAST WEEK WE ASKED:

How fit are you feeling after all these weeks of lockdown?

All those lunchtime jogs, virtual yoga classes and bicycle investments seems to be paying off, as 46% of readers proudly say they are bossing their home fitness regimes right now. Another 30% of you are also wearing jogging pants - but strictly for sofa lounging. Looks like gyms might have to work fairly hard to get us to adopt our old habits again...

CAMDENIST COMMUNITY: Spread the word to win

Congratulations to the latest Camdenist ambassadors to win big for sharing their referral link with their friends. Lisa Smith achieved a fantastic total of 15 sign-ups in February, scooping herself and three friends free deliveries each of Dishoom at Home breakfast naan and chai boxes, so congrats also to her crew: Martin Toogood, Karen Manuel and Shivaun. Will you be next?
