 MUSIC: It's Soho Music Month

We're slap bang in the middle of Soho Music Month, so make sure to find time to head to Carnaby Street to find an array of pop-ups, including an exhibition

of rare vintage prints from famous photographers

of the likes of Blur, the Rolling Stones and David Bowie, all depicted performing in and around the area. This Saturday the Independent Label Market sees tempting crate-digging potential with loads of vinyl stalls (let alone Soho's remaining brilliant record shops), or join a free music history tour, every Wednesday at 6pm. Shops and restaurants around Carnaby Street are hosting their own related events, offers and promotions, including the complimentary Carnaby Fancy cocktail at Dishoom and in-store DJ sets at Paul Smith.🍸

 EXPLORE: Summer in Regent's Park

It's the final weekend of the big Taste of London festival in the park, where you can enjoy culinary creations from many of London's hottest restaurants. (Discover more unmissable summer festivals in Camden in this roundup.) Nearby, the magical Open Air Theatre's summer season includes Romeo & Juliet, Carousel and Dragons & Mythical Beasts. Why not make a balmy night of it with a picnic on the lawn first Meanwhile, Regent's Park Music Festival has the soundtrack to your daytime summer picnics sorted. Every weekend (until 19th Sept) you'll find free performances at the Bandstand or on The Boardwalk. And seeing as London's parks are full of all kinds of wildlife, The Royal Parks have created a bird spotter sheet to help you get the most out of a local weekend walk.

EAT: New pop-up Drumstick 'N' Bass

Kentish Town backstreet boozer The

Rose & Crown

have some exciting new chefs in the kitchen, as Drumstick 'N' Bass bring 'big bassy flavours' in the form of flavourful fried chicken wings and loaded 'chippies'. There's a vegan-friendly option of fried cauliflower smothered in buffalo sauce, too. Enjoy with a pint of delicious craft beer from the pub's impressive and ever-changing selection from independent breweries. 🍺

MOVE: Free events for mind and body

With lockdown apparently behind us, it's definitely time to reconnect with your mind and body thanks to free wellbeing, movement and nutrition classes in Kings Cross this coming Wednesday. The first Central

YMCA BeWell Day

is offering an

for free at YMCA KX on Cromer Street. Take part in a meditation class or the nutrition workshop after exercising your body in a Yin & Yang Yoga or Matwork Pilates session. 🧘🏽‍♀️

 INDULGE: Take a subterranean plunge

Deep beneath the historic art deco Adelphi building off The Strand, the first UK branch of

Aire Ancient Baths

has just opened. Globally renowned for their pampering experiences in jaw-dropping settings, you take a tour through baths of various temperatures and then enjoy a ritualistic massage. It's not cheap, but for a post-lockdown summer indulgence that's ideal for couples, the promise of being rubbed in Argan oil, Himalayan salt or bathing in wine could be rather special.

THIS WEEK'S ONE-CLICK POLL How convinced are you that this really is the end of the Covid lockdowns?

LAST WEEK WE ASKED:

Is football coming home?

Well, we know the official answer now, but our poll result still neatly sums up the hopeful - and equally superstitious - feelings towards this summer's memorable Euros moment. We'll just have to ask you all again next year...
