Upon hearing the news of their imminent arrival, we were keen to find out more about the forthcoming taproom and American-style craft brewery coming soon to the arches underneath Camden Road Overground...so we spoke to owner Rich White. Camdenist readers seem to be largely prepared to move with the times (38% begrudgingly so) and adapt to the inevitable demise of traditional over-the-counter banking. While the annoying apps, websites, and particularly those dire on-hold-for-ages telephone systems are not exactly great, it wasn't as if the branch experience had been much cop for decades anyway. Better to embrace the disruptive forces of digital, we say, and that's before we've even touched upon the dwindling post-pandemic status of cash itself!
