EAT: New seafood restaurant washes up at Swain's Lane

The latest venture to join Swain Lane's destination foodie line-up is London Shell Co. who have just launched a new fresh fish and seafood restaurant, fishmonger and wine shop in one. After a successful few years serving up a unique dining experience aboard two boats on Regent's Canal from their base in Paddington, the brother and sister owners have now made it onto dry land here in Camden right where they grew up and still live, bringing daily Ā£2 oysters, delicious seasonal dishes and even their own sparkling wine with them.

EVENT: Little Amal celebrates in Camden

Little Amal, the 3.5m high puppet of a refugee Syrian child returns to London next week for a festival of celebration. Coinciding with Easter, Passover and Ramadan, on 2nd April Amal will lead an interfaith celebration with London Borough of Camden, JW3, Ramadan Tent Project and Dishoom. Starting at JW3 on Finchley Road and Lymington Road Estate, there'll be Jewish music, song and storytelling before Amal heads to Rowley Way in the Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate to join folk musicians, steel pan bands and gospel choirs. Later on, the procession will get to King's Cross where you'll be able to enjoy music from Arabic drumming traditions and create a lantern to carry in the parade to the Open Iftar at Granary Square. The event is free and suitable for children. Booking required for parts of it.

HISTORY: The sacred Danish Jelling Stone
